The Haunted House consists of group of mazes that visitors must navigate in order to escape the house and collect prizes. There are many twists and turns throughout the mazes; some leading either to the exit and freedom, or to dead ends and surprise encounters. There are a total of 18 different characters, 18 different mazes, and 18 different prizes!
If you have visited the other mazes in this site before, the basic navigation through the Haunted House is essentially the same with a only few minor differences:
- First, if you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator you can run the mouse over parts of the view screen until the cursor turns into a hand. Those spots contain messages and clues that should appear if you hold the mouse cursor in the same spot long enough. If the message starts with a *, you can click on that spot to move in that direction.
- You can also click on the links at the bottom of the screen to take you through the mazes. If you click on the LEFT link, you will take the path leading to the left. Furthermore, FORWARD will move you forward, BACK UP will have you back up and so on.
- Each of the different costumed characters follows a different maze. Each of the different costumes also give you separate prizes for mastering their mazes!
- Finally beware of the various surprises in the Haunted House. Be sure to run away as fast as you can at the first sign of any trouble.
